Yrenes is a passionate Dominican woman who loves what she does and, above all, loves her homeland. From a young age, she developed a special interest in beauty and knowledge, always with the vision of creating a profitable and productive business in her country.

Inspired by her warrior mother and true to her roots, she devoted herself to studying and working tirelessly, never placing limits on her desire to grow. Until one day, her body and mind said: enough. The weight of a postgraduate program, her own business, and a full-time job triggered a deep emotional crisis. It was time to pause and take a moment for herself.

As a result of that impasse, her hair began to fall out heavily. She then found herself facing a new need: to change her habits and lifestyle. But this challenge pushed her to turn the situation around. From her home kitchen, surrounded by pots and wooden spoons, blending the wonderful properties of ginger with the wisdom of grandmothers, she created her first formula.

Yrenes tested it on her own hair and, happy to see how it worked day by day, she dared to share it. Her magical formula began to heal hair, and as word spread, it became increasingly sought after. Her entrepreneurial spirit saw the opportunity to give new meaning to the beauty rituals that had always fascinated her, recognizing the potential to create well-being beyond her immediate circle. So she sought out a chemical engineer to help her transform her experiment into a professional formula.

In 2017, Ginger Milk was born: an artisanal laboratory that continues to grow every day, working to develop intelligent, conscious, and safe products.

Together with her family and the people of her region, Yrenes’s purpose is to keep nurturing her roots and generating abundance — not only for hair, but also for her beloved Santo Domingo.
