A
Butter from the Amazonian murumuru seed. Its high lauric-acid profile penetrates the hair shaft, fills porosity and forms a flexible film that locks in moisture, leaving hair soft and less frizzy.

Cold-pressed from Moroccan argan kernels. Packed with oleic and linoleic acids, vitamin E and phytosterols, it restores the lipid barrier, combats extreme dryness and delivers non-greasy shine to skin and hair.

A biomimetic four–amino-acid peptide obtained by synthesis. It binds to the hair-follicle membrane, reinforces dermal anchoring structures (basement membrane and collagen IV), boosts laminin synthesis and prolongs the anagen phase—helping reduce shedding and increase hair density.

Essential oil steam-distilled from the West Indian sandalwood tree. Rich in sesquiterpenes with soothing, antioxidant and mild anti-inflammatory activity; imparts a soft woody aroma and helps relieve minor skin irritation.

Apigenin is essentially a bioactive flavonoid. It is extracted from parsley, celery, and chamomile; It primarily works by preventing the weakening of blood capillaries and reinforcing the skin's matrix that supports the entire vascular network. Therefore, it prevents the deterioration of the skin's collagen.

Biotin also acts as a coenzyme, stimulating the action of some essential enzymes in cell duplication processes. In other words, it promotes the growth of rapidly reproducing tissues, such as skin and hair. In the scalp, this translates to greater elasticity and less hair breakage, resulting in better protection against hair loss. It is extracted from plant sources such as soy, wheat germ, yeast, among others.

It is perhaps one of the most widely used components in cosmetics for its effectiveness and versatility. In addition to its great moisturizing properties, it also improves the consistency of products and helps them penetrate the scalp's skin.

C
Virgin oil pressed from coconut flesh. Its strong affinity for hair protein enables it to penetrate the cortex and reduce protein loss; on skin it is an emollient rich in lauric acid with mild antimicrobial properties.

Organic acid obtained by starch fermentation. Adjusts pH to a skin-friendly range, improves preservative efficacy and chelates metal ions that could oxidise the formula.

Ester of palmitic acid and cetyl alcohol. Provides body and velvety glide, reinforces emulsion stability and softens skin and hair texture.

Waxy esters from cetyl alcohol and natural fatty acids. Add structure, enhance a “powder-wax” sensoriality and form a smooth film that boosts gloss without clogging pores.

A fatty-alcohol blend (cetyl + stearyl) of plant origin. Works as a non-ionic co-emulsifier that thickens, stabilises and creates a creamy feel; also smooths the hair fibre and reduces combing friction.

A light ester derived from glycerin and caprylic acid. Acts as a “dry-touch” emollient that provides silky slip without occlusion, while improving pigment dispersion and water resistance.

An eight-carbon diol with dual action: a broad-spectrum humectant that attracts moisture to the skin surface and a co-preservative with antimicrobial activity against bacteria and yeasts.

It is a broad-spectrum preservative and antifungal agent. CHA, unlike many other more common preservatives, is very effective at neutral pH levels. It is also an ion chelator of iron; Low iron environments show lower mold growth (Happi). CHA is believed to be a replacement for parabens, which are a widely used preservative but have many associated health and safety issues.

It comes from a tree native to Sri Lanka and is preferably grown in areas with warm and fairly humid climates. This is why it is common to find it in countries such as India, Brazil, Madagascar, Seychelles Islands, Mauritius Islands, and southern China.
The spice, as we know it, comes from the inner bark of this tree. It is extracted after peeling and rubbing the branches. Once this process is done, the bark is rolled, dried, and left to bleach. Among its excellent properties are high levels of vitamin C and B, calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, zinc, iodine, potassium, and phosphorus. Among its functions is improving scalp circulation, stimulating growth. It keeps the scalp clean thanks to its antiseptic properties.

Ultra-light carbonate ester from C8–C10 fatty alcohols. Delivers a “dry, silicone-like” feel, boosts spreadability of sunscreens and leaves hair silky with zero greasiness.

E
Glycerin/2-ethylhexanoic acid derivative that boosts traditional preservative systems (enhancing phenoxyethanol or sorbate), offers light moisturisation and reduces off-odours of sulfur-containing raw materials.

Fermentation-derived polyol that acts as a non-sticky humectant, attracting water and retaining it on the surface. Contributes to skin elasticity and improves wet-combability of hair.

G
Ester of glycerin and stearic acid. Functions as an O/W emulsifier, adds body and forms a soft film that reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

Classic plant-based triol, highly hygroscopic. Draws and retains water in the outer skin layers, keeping them supple; in hair it decreases breakage from dryness and helps curl definition.

Glyceryl Oleate is used for its most common purpose: binding moisture to the skin. It is a common ingredient in sunscreen and hundreds of other cosmetic products.
